Telangana employees threaten non-cooperation

Hyderabad, January 08: Government employees from the Telangana region today threatened to launch non-cooperation movement immediately unless the Central paramilitary forces are withdrawn from the region immediately.

They demanded that political parties from Telangana should react and pressurise the government for withdrawal of forces and also introduction of a bill for formation of separate Telangana state in the forthcoming budget session of the Parliament.

They took out a rally at the Secretariat expressing their solidarity with the agitating students of Osmania University.

TJAC convener M Kodandaram said the government and the police were unnecessarily provocating students.
