Telangana Elections: Candidate hands out slippers asking voters to hit him if he fails to deliver after polls

As the elections are approaching in the Telangana state which is scheduled to take place on 7th December, each contesting candidate is trying very hard to win the election by campaigning in the election-bound state.

An Independent candidate contesting from Korutla constituency of Jagtial district has grabbed attention because of an unprecedented campaign strategy.

The candidate Akula Hanumanth has been holding slippers in hand and promising development while challenging, “If I don’t work after winning, you can hit me with the slipper”.

His campaign video has now gone viral with several people asking other politicians to follow this style.

When he was holding a door-to-door campaign his video was shot in Mettuppalli town where he was asking voters that he will resign if he fails to bring development. He promised that voters will have all rights to publicly hit him with slippers if he did not work properly.
