Telangana EAMCET 2016 exam on May 2

Telangana EAMCET 2016 exam will be held on May 2, 2016. Telangana State Council for Higher Education (TSCHE) has informed that the exam will be held on May 2, 2016 and is conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad. The application form will be available by the first week of March in online mode.

Candidates must obtain a minimum score of 45% in 10+2 (40% for the reserved category) to meet the Eligibility Criteria. Candidates should have completed 16 years of age, as on December 31 of the year of admission. There is no upper age limit.

The question paper will consist of a total of 160 multiple choice questions (MCQs). Each question will carry 1 mark. No negative marking will be done for wrong answers. The duration of the exam will be three hours and it will be conducted in two languages, English and Telugu. However facility to write exam in Urdu will be provided at Hyderabad center.

Qualifying EAMCET is compulsory to take admission in engineering, Agriculture and Medicine.
