The Central Government on Friday extended the term of Telangana Chief Secretary Dr. Rajiv Sharma by three months.
Responding positively to the request made by Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has directed the DOPT to extend the term. Therefore, Dr. Rajiv Sharma, whose term was set to end on May 31, will now continue as the Chief Secretary till August 31. According to sources, the Chief Minister is trying to extend extension in Sharma’s tenure by another three months.(INN)
