Telangana critics are in wilderness now: KTR

IT & Panchayat Raj Minister K T Rama Rao today alleged that political life of former chief minister of undivided AP Nallari Kiran Kumar Reddy remained inactive after formation of Telangana State.

Speaking at a program here on Wednesday, KTR said Kiran Kumar Reddy, who belittled Telangana sentiment, his political life is in wilderness now after de-merger of united Andhra Pradesh. Within six months of Telangana State formation, the TRS regime could tide over power crisis with persistent efforts, he claimed. He also asserted that the TRS Government was committed to provide drinking waters to the twin cities.

The minister also said they would succeed in providing safe drinking waters to the city people. “Our efforts are to ensure that the city is developed as a global one”, KTR added. However, the minister lambasted the Opposition parties for creating hurdles in the path of development of the Telangana State. In spite of the Opposition parties coming in the way, the TRS Government was firm to go ahead with its agenda of welfare and development. The TRS Government has already got the credit by keeping its promise of uninterrupted power supply, he maintained. (NSS)
