At present the MLAs and MLCs were getting Rs 1 crore every year for the development works in Telangana. KCR announced that the Assembly constituency development funds would be increased by Rs 50 lakh from this year making it Rs 1.5 crore.
On Friday,here, TRS CM K Chandrasekhar Rao announced this at a meeting in Telangana Bhavan , the TRS Legislature Party (TRSLP) met here on Friday to chalk out the strategy and floor coordination in the Assembly. TRS president KCR, who chaired the meeting, spoke with the MPs, MLAs and MLCs.

A Senior TRS leader and paryt MP told Express after the meeting, “The Central government is giving 70 per cent subsidy on solar panels. The company proposes to install the solar panels bearing the remaining 30 per cent, if the state government gives guarantee. The company will take the bills for the installed solar panels only after 10 years.”
