Telangana CM K Chandrashekhar Rao to meet Prime Minister

Hyderabad: The Telangana CM, K Chandrasekhar is expecting a meet with PM on Monday. This meeting had to happen earlier, which got postponed due to UP elections.

In accordance with a report by DC, Telangana CM would request central Government about the releasing of pending state files as well as about increasing the Assembly seats in Telangana State.

Section 26 of the Act says, there shall be an increase of Assembly seats from the existing 119 to 153 in Telangana and from existing 175 to 225 in AP. Also, according to the modification of Article 170 of the Constitution.

Additionally, the CM would request Mr Modi to release surplus funds for multiple schemes’ implementation in the state. He would also ask PM for clearance of Land Acquisition Bill, which was passed by Telangana legislature.

The TRS has been supporting all the Bills introduced by the NDA in last three years. The Centre shall also be receptive towards Telangana in approving new schemes and releasing funds, the CM will try to convince the central government with the above statements.
