Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today ordered District Collectors to set right all land records by settling disputes, if any.
According to an official release, the CM, who held Collectors’ conference, instructed the officials to take back assigned lands any if they are encroached up on or not with the assigned owners.
“All land records are to be updated. Unregistered land deals are to be verified, and get them registered if found in order. These registrations should be completed by June 10,” the release quoted Rao as saying.
He also took serious view of the reports that some officials are seeking bribes when people approach them for the mutation of land records.
“Corrupt officials will be dealt with seriously,” Rao said.
According to the statement, the state government has 25 lakh acres of assigned land.
