Condemning the CPI State secretary Dr K Narayana’s criticism that the Telangana issue will not be cleared with the votes and seats, TRC Chief K Chandrashekar Rao has said that he was leaving it to the wisdom of Narayana.
Speaking to the media here on Monday, KCR said that one could be in a position to dictate the Parliament in case he wins 15 MP seats and nobody will stop the resolution on Telangana in the Assembly if a party committed to Telangana won 100 MLA seats.
He said opponents will campaign that there was no Telangana movement, in case TRS had lost elections. He called upon the people to ensure the victory of TRS candidates whatever the elections may be. He said that he will show what he and his party could achieve, in the coming Parliament session.
KCR said that he was fighting for the sake of Telangana including Hyderabad city. He said the Telangana issue has a relation to votes and seats.
He said that there was no single party rule in the entire nation. NCP Chief and Union Minister Sharad Pawar has said best of luck when he asked him about Telangana issue, KCR said. He said he didn’t make any derogatory remarks against the Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh and only asked whether he didn’t know the facts an attender knew.
He said he used to say ‘Jai Telangana’ whenever someone greeted him in Parliament. He said his goal and aim was achieving separate Telangana state and nothing short.
He made it clear that TRS will stall the proceedings of budget sessions of Assembly as well as Parliament. He said Telangana will be achieved only through votes and seats. He urged the voters to ensure the victory of Sudhakar Reddy, Swamy Goud and Varada Reddy in the MLC elections for Teachers and Graduates Constituencies. He said that Mahamood Ali was a TRS MLC candidate for the MLA Quota elections.
