Hyderabad: The next meeting of Telangana Cabinet will be held on October 1.
According to sources, the cabinet meeting, to be chaired by Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao, might give nod to the final notification for creation of 17 new districts. It may also approve the Nizamabad and Karimnagar Police Commissionerates. The cabinet will also discuss the damages caused due to heavy rains and floods in the State.
It may be mentioned that the cabinet meeting, which was scheduled to be held on September 26, was postponed by the Chief Minister in view of heavy rains. He had directed the ministers to supervise the relief operations in their respective districts. (INN)
