Legislative Affairs Minister T. Harish Rao said that the budget session of Telangana State Legislative Assembly would begin from the second week of March.
Speaking to media persons here on Sunday, Harish Rao said that the discussions would be held on several important issues during the budget session. Besides having discussion on welfare schemes, the Assembly will also have a debate on energy situation. He said so far no discussions were held on energy issue despite the fact that TRS Government has completely resolved the crisis.
Harish Rao said that the State Government was prepared to hold discussions on any issue to be raised by the opposition parties. He claimed that it was due to the effective administration of Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao that the Telangana State was witnessing rapid growth and development. For the same reason, he said that the TRS was able to win all elections, including recently held by-elections. (INN)
