Hyderabad: Bandaru Dattatreya former Union Minister said that his party was poised to win the Assembly elections in 2023 and will form the Government in Telangana.
Addressing media persons after launching membership drive app of the party at the party headquarters in the city Mr. Bandaru Dattatraya said that the people in the country were joining the BJP after observing the corruption-free rule of Prime Minister Narendra Modi government.
He said the target of the party in the State was to double the 18-lakh membership in the State. On the political situation in Karnataka, Dattatraya said it was a welcome sign to the country as the Congress has disappeared from entire South India now and soon BJP will also be seen as the next alternative in 2023 in Telangana
The BJP leader said that the party is trying to double the number of members in the state.
“We have launched “BJP4TS” App in the BJP state office as part of the membership drive. Through this app, people can directly register themselves and become active members. If any active member provides fifty memberships through the app, then they will be offered posts by the party. Today BJP is the biggest party in India. There are 11 crore members and in Telangana, there are 18 lakh members. We are trying to double that figure and make it 36 lakhs,” he said while talking to media persons.
“Till now 4.5 lakh new members have been inducted and we are confident that till August 11, we will reach the figure of 36 lakh members in Telangana. Through this, the BJP will grow in the state,” he added
