Telangana Bandh called by Telangana Political JAC received good response from majority of political parties in Telangana. The ruling TRS, Opposition party Congress, left parties and TUF extended support for Telangana Bandh to be held on July 12 in protest against Polavaram Bill passed in Parliament transferring seven Tribal mandals to AP State.
While TRS called upon the party men and people to voluntarily participate in the daylong protest, Telangana Congress Chief Ponnala Lakshmaiah said they would participate in the Bandh as the Centre passed the bill undemocratically.
TUF Chief Vimalakka also extended support to T Bandh on July 12. (NSS)
