Hyderabad, July 31: The Telangana Rashtra Samithi has decided to observe Telangana Bandh on August 5 demanding that the State government conduct the SI Recruitment written examination only after deleting the controversial 14 (F) Clause from Presidential Order. The TRS has questioned the Chief Minister, Mr N Kiran Kumar Reddy, about the problem in conducting the examination after deleting the 14(F) Clause.
Addressing the TRS Vidhyarthi Vibhag meeting at Telangana Bhavan here on Sunday, the TRS Chief, Mr K Chandrashekar Rao, said that his party would organize road blockade programme on August 1 and protest programmes on August 2 demanding deletion of 14(F) Clause.
Stating that the Telangana Employees Unions have already decided to go on indefinite general strike, Mr KCR said there was no other alternative for the Union government and the Congress high command other than conceding separate Telangana State. He said that the Telangana agitators would burn effigies of the Chief Minister and the Director General of Police on August 3. He said that a round table conference would be held on August 4 and it would take a decision to give call for bandh on August 5 if the Chief Minister did not shelve the SI examination.
The TRS supremo also called upon all the Students’ JACs to participate in the bandh. He exuded confidence that they would achieve separate Telangana State at any cost.
