The budget session of Telangana State Legislative Assembly is likely to begin from March 10.
According to sources, Finance Minister Eatala Rajender will present the State’s budget for 2016-17 on March 14. The session is likely to last till March 28. Except Sundays, Assembly is likely to function on all days totalling to a 16-day session.
Before leaving for New Delhi, Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao had directed the ministers and the heads of all departments to prepare for the next budget session. He wanted them to prepare the proposals by 16th February. (INN)
