The budget session of Telangana State Legislative Assembly will begin from March 10.
Finance Minister Eatala Rajender will present the State’s budget for 2017-18 on March 13. According to sources, the State Government is preparing to present a populist budget by allocating huge sums to schemes like weaker section housing. While the first budget for 2014-15 was of about Rs. 1 lakh crore, it was increased to Rs. 1.15 lakh crore in 2015-16 and it was of Rs. 1.30 lakh crore in the current year. (INN)
