Hyderabad, September 27: Telangana Political Joint Action Committee has announced a detailed programme to intensify Telangana agitation from tomorrow. ‘Raasta Roko’ programme would be organized on 28th September, peoples representatives would be gheraoed on 29th September and Hyderabad Banh will be organized on 30th September 2011.
A meeting of the Telangana Political Joint Action Committee was held yesterday. It was attended by Mr. K. Chandrasekhara Rao, TRS President, Prof. Kodandaram, President JAC, Mr. Vidyasagar Rao, BJP leader, Mr. Swamy Goud, President Telangana Employees Join Action Committee, Mr. Hamid Mohammed Khan, President of Movement for Peace and Justice and the members of other organizations.
Rallies would be organized by RTC employees on 27th September Prof. Kodandaram said that leaders from various political parties and organizations will participate in these rallies. Nearly 100 centres have been identified for organizing ‘Raasta Roko’ programme to be held on 28th September.
Peoples representatives of Telangana region will be gheraoed on 29th and they would be demanded to resign from their posts. ‘Hyderabad Bandh’ would be observed on 30th September. In the entire Telangana Region, rallies would be organized on 1st October 2011 to create an awareness for a separate Telangana state.
Protest will be registered on 2nd October by not paying Toll Tax. Effigies of Congress and TDP MLAs would be burnt on 3rd and 4th October. Dassehra Festival would be celebrated on 6th October by hoisting Telangana flag Prof. Kodandaram said that another ‘Rail Roko’ programme would be organized on 9th 10th & 11th October. He appealed to people Telangana to make these agitation programmes successful. He informed that on the occasion of ‘Bandh’ vehicles coming from Seema Andhra regions would be stopped. He warned the Govt. for taking stern action against the employees. Mr. K. Chandrasekhara Rao demanded to lift the ban on electricity supply to farmers. He threatened that if this demand is not accepted, the houses of the peoples representatives would be gheraoed. He blamed that without affecting any electricity cut for the ministers houses and MLAs quarters, the Govt. is reducing the supply of electricity to farmers. He stressed the peoples representatives to dismiss the Chief Minister. He announced that Dashera festival will be celebrated in Telangana with Telangana flag. He told the Govt. to generate electricity in Srisailam to meet the shortage of electricity in the state.
