Hyderabad, December 27: City police today foiled an attempt by pro-Telangana activists to disrupt film shooting of a Telugu movie starring junior NTR, nephew of TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu.
Raising ‘Jai Telangana’ slogans some TRS workers tried to barge into the gate of a college premises in Hussainialam area in the old city here, where the film shooting was on, but were immediately sent back by police.
In the wake of ongoing Telangana agitation, film production units and personalities supporting unity of Andhra Pradesh are facing the ire of Telangana activists.
Earlier this week Telangana Rashtra Samiti workers attacked a production unit of Lakshmi Prasanna, daughter of noted Telugu actor M Mohan Babu, while they were shooting for a Telugu movie starring Manoj, at Kompally on the city outskirts on Tuesday, after they joined united Andhra Pradesh agitation.
