Hyderabad: Chief Secretary of TS, Dr. S.K. Joshi informed that on account of the unique industrial policy of the State, 7337 units have been sanctioned in which Rs. 1,30,216 crore is likely to be invested which may create 6 lakh job opportunities.
Dr. Joshi told that within 6 months of the formation of TS, Industrial Policy was formulated. So far, 4884 units have already started their work. Under the stewardship of Mr. KCR, units are being sanctioned under Single Window System.
He also said that Telangana is number one in “Ease of Doing Business” and making rapid strides in all sectors. KCR has come up with a single window system of giving all permissions for the promotion of industries and assorted businesses and the state has adequate land mass and will offer subsidies. TSIIC is allotting land and the state has 165 industrial parks including IT, Bio-Technology, Pharma, Textiles and others. We plan to set up Pharma City, NIMZ, Textile Park, MSME, Seed Park, Food Park and other projects the cost is less compared to other states.
Agriculture Principal Secretary Partha Sarathi said that the government is offering Rs 4000 per acre crop investment scheme and will launch Rs 5 lakh farmers insurance. The government started giving 24-hour free power supply to the farm sector and built 18.25 lakh metric tons capacity godowns to store food grains in the state he said. Vani Rao asked Telangana government to make use of opportunities in cybersecurity, e-governance, ecosystem, occasional education in Finland. Subbarayudu said business opportunities in mining, fuel and grains in Latin America. Dr. Ausaf Sayeed said about opportunities in the tourism sector and promised to support tourism promotional event.
