Srinagar, January 17: A 14-year-old niece of a BSF jawan died, while he and his wife were found unconscious due to asphyxiation, police said here today.
The mishap occurred last night when B S Maddi of 122 Battalion, his wife Tanuja and daughter of his brother-in-law Jyoti were sleeping after lighting up a fire pot with charcoal in a room in Poulara area, they said.
While girl was found dead, the couple fell unconscious and was shifted to BSF hospital in a critical condition.
