A five-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a teenage boy at Mahaban town, following which he was arrested, police said.
The incident took place yesterday when the girl had gone to watch TV at accused’s house, police said.
He took her to a nearby place and assaulted her, they added.
The boy has been booked under relevant sections of POSCO Act and the girl has been sent for medical examination, they said.
He would be sent to juvenile jail as he is a minor, police said.
