A teenaged college boy was arrested today for trying to molest an eight-year old girl,who had come to his house for tuition, police said.
They said the third standard girl student had gone to his house at Avarampalayam last night for tuition. As the lady teacher had gone out, her brother who was alone in the house, took the girl in a room and tried to molest her, they said.
The girl complained to her parents, who lodged a complaint at a woman police station and he was arrested.
The boy was produced before a court and remanded to custody and lodged in the Central jail here, police said.
