Two teenaged girls tricks men and dupes them through social networking sites, in order to get their money has been arrested by the Mirchowk police on Monday.
According to a report published in The Hindu, the teenagers by creating fake profiles on Facebook and by posting pictures of models lured their victims.
“The two girls introduced themselves as college students and collected SIM cards, camera and money from the men. Around 100 persons were victimised by them,” the Mirchowk police said.
When the police checked their Facebook profiles and contacted a few ‘friends’, it was all clear and the fraud became public.
Finally, the police traced the girls at their relative’s house based on the information provided by them and took them in detention.
