A teenaged boy today committed suicide by hanging himself in Rampur locality under Jamalpur police station area in Bihar’s Munger district, police said.
The 11 year-old boy Shivpujan hung himself with a rod dangling horizontally on the roof of his house, Deputy
Superintendent of Police (Jamalpur) Ranjan Kumar said.
The body has been recovered and sent for post-mortem,he said adding the family members were away at the time the
boy took the extreme step.
No suicide note was recovered from the spot, Kumar said adding an investigation was underway in the matter.
Shivpujan, a class VII student and son of advocate Rajiv Kumar Singh, had reportedly told relatives and
neighbours about being ignored by his parents.
