UP teen raped by father over 3 yrs

Lucknow, June 12: A 15-year-old girl in Uttar Pradesh has accused her father of raping her for three years and making her pregnant twice, police said on Thursday.

“The class 10 student, a resident of Mahadev Nagar in Aligarh district, alleged that her father forced her into an illicit relationship, threatening her,” police inspector Udaiveer Malik said over telephone from Aligarh.

Nand Kishore, who is absconding, is a lecturer at a college in Sonbhadra district. A case has been registered against him.

According to the police, the victim, along with neighbours, approached the police on Wednesday to register the case against her father.

“Leaving other family members in Sonbhadra, Kishore forcibly brought his daughter to Aligarh recently. According to the victim, she became pregnant twice and had to undergo abortions in Sonbhadra,” said Malik, adding that they were in touch with the police in Sonbhadra and an extensive search operation has been launched to arrest Nand Kishore.

Sonbhadra is about 250 km from Lucknow.

Italy: Police arrested Michele Mongelli, 64, from Turin for sexually abusing his daughter over 25 years and encouraging his son, Giuseppe, 41, to follow suit. The son, too, is behind bars, accused of abusing not only his sister, now 34, but his own daughters, aged 6, 8, 12 and 20.

India: Businessman Kishore Chavan, 60, was arrested by the Mira Road police for allegedly raping his daughters. The elder girl, now 21, suffered for nine years. The girls’ mother was also arrested. Police said a tantrik, Hasmukh Rathod, 60, told the couple that the family would prosper if the father had a sexual relationship with his daughters.
