New Delhi, June 10: A 15-year-old girl was raped by a 16-year-old boy in the national capital, police said Thursday.
“Both were known to each other. The accused called the victim to Sultanpuri (west Delhi) around 8.30 p.m. (Wednesday) and drove her to an isolated place and raped her,” a police official said.
“On returning home next day (Thursday), the victim narrated her ordeal to her parents. A medical examination of the girl has confirmed rape. We have arrested the accused and action will be taken as per juvenile laws,” said a police official. In compliance with the law governing juveniles, the names and identities of both have been withheld.
