Computerized acknowledgment receipt for passport submission and online data entry of selected Hajj aspirants by State Hajj Committee has become a nuisance for Hajj aspirants. Hajj aspirants have to wait for hours in the queue for online computerized entry which is wearisome.
Earlier after receiving the passport from the Hajj aspirant, a receipt was given to them after being stamped, but this time the decision taken by Hajj committee to provide receipt after online entry has lend Hajj aspirants into trouble.
On June 5 when the state Hajj aspirants reached Hajj House, they had to wait for more than 4 hours due to technical snag in Hajj committee website from Mumbai.
According to workers state committee was not responsible for the hitch, as such types of errors occur, which need time to get repaired.
