Tech Mahindra CEO meets AP CM, extends all help for IT development

Vijayawada: Hailing AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu’s vision to make Andhra Pradesh a technologically-advanced State, Tech Mahindra CEO C.P. Gurnani extended his full co-operation for the development of the IT sector in the State.
Gurnani met the Chief Minister here and agreed to set up a Centre for Excellence in Robotics and Analytics Department at International Institute of Digital Technologies (IIDT) that will come up in Tirupati. He also agreed to facilitate employment for 1,000 people at Tech Mahindra facility centre in Visakhapatnam.
Speaking on the Chief Minister’s contribution towards development of the Information Technology sector in Hyderabad, Gurnani said, he takes inspiration from Naidu to work relentlessly and achieve the impossible. He assured the Chief Minister of all necessary support for the development of IT sector in the residual state of Andhra Pradesh.
Meanwhile, the Chief Minister briefed Tech Mahindra CEO on how the State government was adopting technology and innovation for better governance and welfare activities. He invited the Tech giant to be a partner in the State’s growth story. Gurnani also agreed to serve as one of the chief advisors to the Chief Minister’s core team.
