Hyderabad: Efforts of IT Minister KT Rama Rao, on the sidelines of World Economic Forum Summit in Davos, are getting fructified as noted Tech Mahindra Company has agreed to set up its business Center in Warangal and other global companies evinced interest to foray in to the state for business. Tech Mahindra Chairman Anand Mahindra is to hold a meeting with Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao soon and promised to tech start up program slush to Hyderabad, KTR said.
The tour of the IT minister is promising as he met with noted companies including CA Global CEO Mike Gregory, Fizer Vaccine president Susan Silaberman, Aerospace giant Lockheed Martin, executive vice president Richard Ambrose, Bulgaria Tourism Minister Nicolina, Angel Kova and others separately at Telangana pavilion at Davos summit. Gregory promised to give priority to Hyderabad for their business expansion, KTR said informed to Susan that 25 per cent of vaccine used at national level being produced in Hyderabad which is one of the biggest vaccine manufacturing hubs and urged her to set up a production unit. He urged Kova to set up partner in start up companies, innovation and tourism sectors. He also met with noted Tina Solar company and Philips delegates and Abraj Group. KTR also met with Tata, Baja, Hero Uday Kotak and others Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. (NSS)
