Telangana Employees Confederation (TEC) will take up a rally from Sundaraiah Park to Ambedkar statue at Tank bund on Oct 25to press the government on their demands.
TEC in a press note here said that the employees, officials will participate in the rally which will begin at 10 am. TEC Chairman E Venkatesam said that the rally will help mount pressure on the government to resolve their demands. The demands include permanent distribution of employees to Telangana by Nov 30, increase of retirement age to 60 years from 58 years, cashless health cards to employees and pensioners, PRC implementation with 70 per cent of fitment, inclusion of Telangana increment in basic pay, filling up of 1.50 lakh vacant posts by a separate PSC for Telangana State and pension facility to the employees working in SC, ST, BC, Minorities and Women Corporations.
Venkatesam appealed to the officials and employees of Telangana state, public sector officials, teachers, workers and pensioners to participate in the rally. (NSS)
