(Siasat News) Osmania University centre for International Programs and World Buddhists cultural trust organized the seminar on “Understanding for peace through Islam and Hinduism-Efforts of the Buddist”. Prof. Sumita Roy welcomed the guest. She told that thirst for peace is so old as the need for religion. Lama Doyom Shelko, founder Managing Trustee of World Buddhist Cultural Trust introduce the theme of the seminar. He told that this year 150th birthday of Swamy Vivekananda is being celebrated. Quoting Dalai Lama, he told that the basic teachings of all the religions give importance to love. Sympathy and forgiveness should form part of our daily life. All thought there are difference in various religions but the best persons are those who respect each other’s religions.
Prof. S.M.N. Reddy, Registrar of Osmania University told that the basic objective of any religion is to widen the minds of the people and to constitute a good society.
