Keeping in view the possible delay in appointment of teaching staff for Minority Residential Schools to be established in Telangana, Minority Welfare Department made representation with Education Department in this connection.
Secretary Minority Welfare Syed Omer Jaleel told that 71 Minority Residential Schools will begin from June. Keeping in view the requirement of teachers, a letter has been sent to Education Department to provide the services of 640 teachers. He told that Telangana Public Service Commission has been requested to issue notification for recruitment of 640 teachers. Public Service Commission is likely to issue notification shortly. However recruitment process will take 45 days; hence it has been decided to hire teachers on deputation to ensure commencement of the schools on time.
