Teachers hail Government decision

Hyderabad, January 31: The Affiliated College Teachers Association, Andhra Pradesh, thanked Chief Minister K Rosaiah for implementing the revised UGC scales in the State. In a press release, association general secretary G Mallikarjuna Rao said the decision would benefit around 10,000 teachers in the State.

Federation of College Teachers’ Association, AP chairman S Lakshminarayana thanked the Government for its decision to implement the revised UGC scales in the State. The decision would help students as the best faculty would be available for them. While thanking the Government, AP Aided Degree College Lecturers’ Association general secretary M Yadagiri demanded that the Government should enhance the age of superannuation up to 62 years for aidded college teachers drawing UGC pay scales.
