Teachers eligibility test coaching for minorities: S.A. Shukoor

Hyderabad, July 02: In the present day context competitive examinations are inevitable for getting jobs. Excellent ranks alone guarantee employment which is not possible without sincerity and hard work. These ideas were expressed by Dr. S.A. Shukoor, Director of the Centre for Educational Development of Minorities, Nizam College, Osmania University. He was inaugurating the coaching programme for Teachers’ eligibility test for recruitments in schools.

Osmania University is offering free coaching to Minority candidates. This scheme is funded by the Department of Minority Affairs, Govt. of A.P. For the first time, Govt. of A.P. made it compulsory for the candidates to pass the eligibility test. Minimum pass marks are 60. The candidates have to attempt 150 objective type questions in 2 ½ hours time.

Dr. Shukoor informed that the center had provided coaching earlier for EAMCET, DIETSET, ICET and other competitive tests and the results were very encouraging which is boosting up the morale and confidence among the Muslim students.

Mr. Shaik Chand, Senior Project Officer advised the candidates to be punctual for the training classes. He told the students to take advantage of the Govt. Schemes. Classroom teaching materials are also provided besides regular teaching.
