A meeting of Telangana State Teachers’ Union was organized to bid farewell to its General Secretary Mr. Abdul Basith Khan who retired on attaining superanuation.
Speaking on this occasion, Prof. Kodandaram, President of Telangana Political, JAC said that teachers spend their lives in imparting training to young children through education. Teachers community faces difficulties right from day one of their appointments. They are subjected to many atrocities. The teachers are the torch-bearers of the culture of Telangana region. They have not forgotten their duties. He applauded the services of Mr. Abdul Basith Khan. Chairman of Minorities cell of TRS Mr. Mohammed Mahmood Ali said that a teacher encounters many ups and downs in his life but he equips the students with the skills for leading a better life by facing many difficulties.
He further told that Telangana is a region which has the history of its own. During Asafia period schools and hospitals were flourishing. He appealed the teachers to participate in Telangana movement.
