A 45-year-old school teacher was arrested for sexually abusing one of his girl students in Kannur.
Police received a complaint from the parents of the victim and after investigation, the accused was arrested.
The authorities of Perinthatta North ALP School in the district had earlier suspended the teacher P E Govindan.
