A case under the Nirbhaya Act was registered by the Malkajgiri police against an English teacher of a private school for misbehaving with a girl student on Wednesday.
Carl, the accused teaches English at St George School in Malkajgiri. Carl is also the son of school correspondent Francis.
Parents of a 15-year-old girl student on Wednesday lodged a complaint with the police alleging that Carl had misbehaved with the girl in the school administrative office.
Malkajgiri inspector J Rajasekhar Reddy said, “When the girl went to drink water, Carl allegedly summoned her to the office room and misbehaved with her.”
Based on the complaint lodged by the victim’s parents, a case was filed under relevant sections of the Nirbhaya Act and the Prevention of Children from Sexual Offences Act.
