TDP warns govt of going ahead with SI recruitment test

Hyderabad, August 01: Senior Telangana leader from Telugu Desam Party Ravula Chandrasekhar Reddy on Sunday alleged that the state government is playing with the lives of thousands of students of the region by going ahead with conducting recruitment examinations for the posts of police Sub-Inspectors without the controversial Clause 14 F being deleted from the Presidential Order of 1975.

This Clause facilitates the inclusion of Hyderabad in Sixth Zone.

Talking to media persons after a delegation of Telugu Desam Telangana Forum members submitted a memorandum to Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy at his Camp Office on the issue, Mr Chandrasekhar Reddy criticized the state government’s decision to go ahead with SI’s recruitment test, thereby hitting the aspirations of Telangana aspirants.

“The government’s stubborn attitude on going ahead with recruitment hints that it has conspired with the Seemandhra leaders to protect their interests,” Mr Chandrasekhar alleged.

Warning the state government of serious consequences if it goes ahead with the recruitment examinations, the TDP leader said his party’s Telangana Forum members would intensify their agitation against the government until it get the controversial Clause 14 F deleted from the Presidential Order.
