TDP threatens to storm CM’s new residence

TDP Telangana State president L Ramana and working president A Revanth Reddy today warned that the party would lay siege to new residence of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao if his government failed to release funds for students fee reimbursement scheme.

           

Continuing their tirade against ruling TRS party, they said the Chief Minister has constructed a new residence with several crores of rupees whereas he failed to release  funds for free reimbursement resulting in students facing a lot of problems in continuing their studies. They said KCR has scheduled house warming ceremony on November 26 for which TDP would oppose and lay siege to the new residence, the TDP leaders said.

Demanding immediate release of funds towards fee reimbursement, TDP workers today held a maha dharna at L B Nagar crossroads under the aegis of TNTUC where thousands of party workers participated. Besides Ramana and Revanth Reddy, MLA R Krishnaiah, party senior leader Ravula Chandrasekhar Reddy, TNSF State president Chuluka Madhusudhan Reddy and others participated in the dharna. Revanth Reddy called upon students to prevent TRS ministers wherever they visit demanding release of funds for fee reimbursement.(NSS)
