Telugu Desam Telangana Forum (TDTF) Convener Errabelli Dayakar Rao today said the Telangana Desam Party (TDP) was ready to support resolution on separate Telangana statehood by the government in the Assembly.
Talking to reporters at Assembly media point, Mr.Errabelli said that his party was not opposed to Telangana state formation and the public issues should not be neglected at the cost of Telangana issue.
If the government moves a resolution on Telangana in the Assembly, he said the TDP was ready to support it. Recalling the Parliament has to take a final decision on the formation of Telangana State, he reiterated that the party would continue to fight for bifurcation of State.
Alleging Assembly Speaker Nadendla Manohar adjourned the House on ‘flimsy reasons’, he said it was unfortunate for the Speaker to adjourn the House repeatedly when the State was plagued by so many issues, including power shortage, fee reimbursement and tainted Ministers. UNI
