TDP floor leader in Telangana Legislative Council A Narsa Reddy accused the Telangana Rashtra Samithi of encouraging unethical politics in the State.
Speaking on the floor of the House on Wednesday, Narsa Reddy said that the TRS has failed to maintain the dignity of the House and the election of Chairman was an example for the same. He said that the TRS has been using unethical means to divide the opposition parties. He strongly condemned the defection of some TDP members into the TRS a few days before the election of Chairman.
Narsa Reddy said that that the ruling party was setting a wrong precedent in the State. He said similar strategy of buying out members of other parties is being adopted to win the post of chairman in MPTC, ZPTCs and other local bodies.
Therefore, Narsa Reddy said that the TDP was boycotting the election of Chairman and staged a walkout. (INN)
