Hyderabad, December 20 : The Telugu Desam Party is planning to move a no confidence motion against the Kiran Kumar Government for failing to come to the flood affected farmers in the state.
The TDP President, Mr. N. Chandrababu Naidu, who was arrested and admitted in NIMS on Monday after disrupting his three-day indefinite fast, advised his party leaders to consult other Opposition parties in
this regard and at the same time continue the agitation launched by the party.
The Minister for Health Mr. D. L. Ravindra Reddy, defending the arrest of the TDP President asserted that the government had no other alternative keeping in view Mr. Chandrababu Naidu’s deteriorating health condition. The Chief Minister tried in vain to contact the fasting leader and persuade him to call off his agitation, he
explained.
Referring to the plans of Telugu Desam to move a no confidence motion against the state government, the Health Minister quipped “ We are prepared to face any eventuality”.
