TDP Muslim Minority Cell Leader Quits

Mohd, Raheemullah Khan Riyazi, State general secretary, TDP Minority Cell, sent his resignation to TDP Chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday citing “continuous injustice” as a reason to do so.

The senior TDP leader, who has been associated with the party since its inception in 1982, said the injustice had been continuing in spite of “repeated requests”. He mentioned in his letter that his resignation was a loss of one lakh Muslim voters from the State to the TDP. (NSS)
