Hyderabad, April 21: Telugu Desam Party (TDP) MLC N Rajakumari today appeared before a party committee to explain her stance in the wake of her ”outbursts” against the party.
Talking to reporters here, she said she would offer her explanation before the Committee comprising Senior Party Leaders Y Ramakrishnudu and G Rammohan Rao. She had called on TDP President N Chandrababu Naidu yesterday to wish him on his 60th birthday.
The party had taken seriously her ”outbursts” against its policies and leadership, at a party meeting in Guntur on Friday last. It was also upset with her participation in a commemorative meeting for Former Deputy Chief Minister Koneru Ranga Rao, fuelling speculations that she was toying with the idea of joining the ruling Congress.
The party viewed her ”outbursts” as a tactics to put pressure on the leadership to get the party ticket for the forthcoming Rajya Sabha Elections from the State, party sources said.
