TDP MLA seeks 10 days time to appear before ACBH

TDP MLA from Sathupally Sandra Venkata Veeraiah on Friday sought 10 days time to appear before the Telangana Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) to record his statement in ‘Cash for Vote’.

The ACB had served him a notice asking him to appear for questioning by 5 PM on Friday in connection with the ‘Cash for Vote’ case. However, citing ill-health, Veeraiah said he could not appear before 10 days. In his letter addressed to ACB’s Assistant Superintendant of Police Malla Reddy, he said due to ill-health and also prior commitments, he could not before the ACB on Friday. He said he has been advised rest by the doctors and therefore, he could not visit the ACB office.

The TDP MLA, however, said he was ready to record his statement in the hospital where he is undergoing treatment. (INN)
