Telugu Desam Party MLA KP Vivekananda on Tuesday demanded that the State Government grant grace marks for the SSC students who failed in mathematics and science papers.
Speaking to media persons here, Vivek said thousands of students could not clear maths and science paper due to the new syllabus and methodology. He said even teachers were not fully families with the CCA methodology. He said although he does not oppose CCA, the new method was introduced midway which caused great confusion among students and teachers.
Therefore, he appealed to the State Government to grant grace marks to the students who failed in just maths and science to save their academic year. Further, all the mistakes identified in the new syllabus, should be rectified before conducing supplementary exams, he demanded. (INN)
