President minority cell Hyderabad Telugu Desam Party Mr. Shahbaz Ahmed Khan strongly condemned Congress government for not beginning computerization work of Waqf properties in Andhra Pradesh and said that the government is neglecting protection and preservation of Waqf properties.
Mr. Shahbaz Ahmed Khan told that the central government has begun digitalization of Waqf properties in all states of the country and the expenditure for this is also borne by the central government. Protection and preservation of Waqf property is being carried out in all states and in some states the work is in last phases.
A committee was formed for digitalization of Waqf properties in Andhra Pradesh too, but even after a span of nearly one and a half years the work has not begun yet. He deplored.
