Despite ongoing opposition for organizing TDP Mahanadu in Hyderabad, at last, a decision has been taken to hold it at Gandipet, Hyderabad from 27th to 29th May. This was announced after Politburo meeting yesterday.
After the formation of separate Telangana State, TRS had opposed for organizing TDP Mahanadu in Hyderabad but under the pressure from TDP leaders of Telangana the party leadership was forced to organize it in Hyderabad.
Reliable sources indicated that before the three day Mahanadu, all the committees will be finalized. The membership drive of Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry will also be completed by them. TDP decided to donate Rs. 5 crore for the Earth Quake victims of Nepal.
