In the back drop of the uncertainty in Andhra Pradesh after the decision of bifurcation, Telugu Desam Party (TDP) wanted to meet the President and Prime Minister to appraise them of the latest situation prevailing in the state.
TDP has sought permission for meeting the President Pranab Mukherjee and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, reliable sources said.
TDP MPs, MLAs and other leaders would call on the president and the prime minister at Delhi and request them to find a solution to the problems being faced by the people as an aftermath of the CWC’s decision.
It was learnt that the TDP leaders are likely to meet the President and Prime Minister on October 25 and 26.(NSS)
