Telugu Desam Party (TDP) senior leader and Telangana region MLA Motkupalli Narasimhulu today launched an 11-day programme under which he would walk from his residence to the Assembly premises to highlight the ‘deception of the TRS leadership towards the Telangana people on the issue of separate statehood.’ Hundreds of party activists and also senior leaders led by Mr Narasimhulu had launched his yatra from his residence located at Ameerpet in the city and raised slogans against the TRS Pesident KCR.
The programme was not related to the by-polls in the state , he told the mediapersons after launching his yatra. TRS miserably failed to come to the rescue of the Telangana martyrs, he alleged adding that ‘we will take up the issue shortly. ‘TRS is not sincere in its fight for achieving the separate state for Telangana region,’ he said, and asked the people to understand the attitude of the TRS. The programme will conclude with a public meeting at Indira Park on March 16. UNI
